Christopher Maurice Brown is an American singer, rapper, musician, dancer and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he participated in church choir and in a number of local talent shows from an early age. After signing with Jive Records in 2004, Brown released his debut studio album the following year, which became a dual platinum disc certified by the Recording Industry Association of America. With the first single "Run It!" reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100, Brown became the first male artist since 1997 to have the first single to top the charts. His second album Exclusive topped his second Billboard Hot 100 chart "Kiss Kiss". In addition to his solo commercial success, Brown was featured in several hit singles such as "No Air", a duet with vocalist Jordin Sparks. In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna.

He is most known for his participation on the veterinary reality show Bondi Vet. He is an Australian veterinarian and television personality. He has also been a regular panelist on the talk show The Project and co-hosted the Network Ten lifestyle show The Living Room.
