David Dederer is an American guitarist and singer. He was a member of the alternative rock band The Pres President of the United States of America ,. A former student of Seattle, Bush School in Washington, and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, he founded The Pres President with Chris Ballew, a Bush alumnus. He was also a member of The Gentlemen and Loaded with Guns N 'Roses bassist Duff McKagan, also from Seattle, and Subset, a collaboration between The Pres President and Sir Mix-a-Lot. Dederer currently heads programming and editing at Amazon Music and oversees the Presidents' ongoing business interests. Dederer worked for a web / mobile communications company in Seattle from 2007-2010 as Vice President, Business Development. Melodeo was acquired by Hewlett Packard in June 2010. Previously, he worked for four years as a public affairs consultant at Pyramid Communications in Seattle.
